Sheesh, it looks like we're branching out a bit - offering several "first time" experiences. This time it's the snow. Some were crazy about it (Brexton and myself), others not so (Garrett). While it is a bit cumbersome to load up on the winter gear just to step outside the door it can sure be lots of fun to play in -

Brett and Holly invited us to come up with them to the cabin Brett's Dad owns in Greer, AZ. My parents joined us on Friday and the whole time was simply fun. Since it was Easter and General Conference weekend we colored hard-boiled eggs, had Easter egg hunts in the snow, and enjoyed listening to our prophet and apostles. Delicious food was defintely part of the indulging of the carefree weekend. The kids carried on the tradition of egg wars and though I wasn't present I certainly heard some shrieking laughter as Savannah's egg literally blew up into tiny chunks when Garrett gave her egg a smashing hit :) After the wars the eggs were peeled for Biscuits and Egg Gravy - yum! Brexton spent 20 patient minutes as he delicately broke off miniscule pieces of shell from his egg leaving it completely divit-free. Way to go buddy!
